A PERFECT PAIR: SHOE SHOPPING THAT CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

QVC Presents 15th Annual “FFANY Shoes on Sale” Breast Cancer Event

October 15, 2008

Shoe shopping takes on a whole new meaning during breast cancer awareness month – fabulous shoes at HALF the manufacturer’s suggested retail price.

QVC® once again has joined forces with the Fashion Footwear Association of New York (FFANY) to broadcast QVC Presents “FFANY Shoes on Sale,”
a charitable shoe sale for breast cancer research and education.
This year’s program is scheduled to air on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 from 7 PM – 10 PM (ET).

For the past 14 years, QVC Presents “FFANY Shoes on Sale” has sold over one million pairs of shoes and has donated over $28 million to the cause.
This year, more than 100,000 pairs of shoes from over 98 brands will be sold for half the manufacturer’s suggested retail price, with net proceeds benefiting breast cancer research
and education institutions, including:

·        The Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania – Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

·        The Alvin J. Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine – St. Louis, Missouri

·        The Breast Cancer Research Foundation – New York, New York

·        The Gillette Center for Women’s Cancers at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute – Brookline, Massachusetts

·        The John Wayne Cancer Institute Breast Center at Saint John's Health Center – Santa Monica, California

·        The Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins – Baltimore, Maryland

·        The University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Breast Oncology Program – Ann Arbor, Michigan

·        The Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences – Little Rock, Arkansas

The event’s two special benefactors, the Nine West Footwear Corporation and the Brown Shoe Company, are donating nearly 20,000 pairs each,
bringing shoe shoppers such brands as Enzo

Angiolini, Bandolino and AK Anne Klein as well as Via Spiga, Etienne Aigner and Carlos by Carlos Santana. Other companies generously donating shoes include Michael by Michael Kors,
Coach Footwear, Cape Clogs, Taryn Rose, Max Studio, Calvin Klein, UGG Australia, Timberland and

many, many more. A special selection of additional styles will be available on www.QVC.com.

In addition to the October 15 scheduled broadcast, shoppers may also contribute to the cause by purchasing the “Shoe of the Day” offered each weekday during the month of October on QVC
from 7 AM – 9 AM (ET), or from the online collection offered through QVC.com beginning October 1 and continuing throughout the month.

Shoes will be available through QVC by calling 800.345.1515 or by visiting www.QVC.com, while supplies last.
