Nations General Assembly, two youth
goodwill ambassadors of the World
Harmony Foundation (WHF), Miss Shoshana
Moe Khan and 12-year-old Joseph Liu,
acting on behalf of WHF, paid their

Irfaan Ali, President of the
Co-operative Republic of Guyana, and

At the award presentation, Miss Shoshana

Joseph Liu, jointly represented the
World Harmony Foundation
in presenting the honorary trophy to
President Ali. The presentation
expressed WHF's profound respect for the
long-standing efforts of the Government
and people of Guyana to promote
peaceful development, social harmony,
ecological protection, and harmonious
coexistence between humanity and nature.

Twelve-year-old Junior Harmony
Ambassador Joseph Liu, who also serves
as Secretary-General of the Middle
School Committee of the U.S.-based Youth
Leaders Development Organization, said:
“We must always pass the mission of
Harmony for Peace and Harmony for
Eco-Protection on to the next
generation.” His participation in this
international exchange as a
new-generation junior ambassador for
peace and ecological protection carried
special symbolic significance. |

The UN 80th Anniversary porcelain
public-interest art exhibition uses
traditional Jingdezhen porcelain art as
a cultural medium to present themes of
peace, harmony, international exchange,
and public-interest cultural outreach.
The 193 head-of-state porcelain vases
and 80 commemorative vases have historic
collectible value. The portraits were
painted by renowned portrait artist Peng
Zhaoguang, and the project was funded
and donated by philanthropist and WHF
Vice Chair for China Wu Xiaoping. The
full-row exhibition photograph is
retained at the end of this document as
a visual record of the public-interest
art initiative. |
