Real World Brands Participate In Revolutionary Virtual Community



First Virtual Brand Integration with Caroline's Comedy Club


New York, NY   -  Architects of the virtual world, Next Island and Entropia Universe, have partnered with Carolines Comedy Club marking the first real world-virtual world brand integration on NEXT ISLAND ( first virtual world with a real cash economy. David Post, Founder and Chairman, David Simmonds, Vice Chairman of Entropia Universe and NEXT ISLAND, Katlean de Monchy, Launch Expert and CNN Regular, along with Caroline Hirsch, founder/owner of Carolines Comedy Club, hosted an exclusive sneak peek of the virtual world, at the real world Carolines in New York City. An audience of brand representatives, investors and innovators were on hand to witness the vast potential NEXT ISLAND offers brands in every category.


NEXT ISLAND is a Guinness World Record Holder for most money for a virtual property. Video gaming, a leading activity, globally engages 2.5 billion, NEXT ISLAND and Entropia Universe accounts generate 1 billion micro-transactions a month. Tapping into the need for entertainment within this exceptional virtual community, Caroline’s Comedy Club sees the opportunity to be part of the virtual world as “endless,” says Caroline’s owner and founder, Caroline Hirsch. “Now people all around the world can see Caroline’s in front of their faces on their very own screens. People love comedy. You could say it’s an equalizer, a unifier. It’s a common thread that we are all able to relate to.  And now through NEXT ISLAND’s virtual reality, Carolines Comedy Club is open to the entire universe.”


Following a clever stand-up routine by Vince August, the warm-up comedian for Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah,” David Simmonds, Vice Chairman, spoke to the future of NEXT ISLAND where brands capitalizing on the addictive nature of gaming will enter this virtual world to create dynamic new relationships with end users. Investor and economist Hal Vogel, an early NEXT ISLAND investor and stock analyst, addressed his rationale for supporting this unique virtual world: “I like the idea of monetizing objects. And I like the idea of new worlds. I saw the potential for this business to grow exponentially over time. My attitude was that NEXT ISLAND could be taken over eventually by a much larger company at a very high valuation.” David Post, Next Island Chairman believes that “the merging of real and virtual worlds into media and programming will make NEXT ISLAND the future of entertainment. Watch for a new comedy show that is both real and virtual with Carolines as a partner.


In the world of NEXT ISLAND, virtual design is evolving to integrate real world products: Avatars will wear branded fashion and cosmetics. Skins too will reflect favorite brands. Says Susan Traub, founder and owner of Royal Animals, “As a brand owner, I have always tried to stay ahead of the curve. I like the opportunities NEXT ISLAND offers. I’ve been looking at this category for some time but I am rewarded to see it so excellently realized here. This integrated marketing idea with a virtual reality component is part of the present; it has arrived. Definitely a concept I would like to prioritize in our marketing moving forward.”

Virtual real estate is developed as well with a $1,000,000 land sale program on the schedule for later in 2019.
