Centerstone hosting 24th Annual No Voice Unheard
event to support survivors and foster community
awareness
Centerstone,
a national nonprofit provider of mental health and
substance use disorder services, is proud to
announce the 24th annual "No Voice Unheard" event,
scheduled for Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at the 13th
AV Dream Center in Bradenton. Hosted by
Centerstone’s Sexual Assault & Trauma Services team,
this year’s event theme is "Rooted in Healing,
Planting Seeds of Hope," which reflects the
organization’s ongoing commitment to supporting
survivors and fostering community awareness.

Centerstone’s No Voice Unheard event aims to create
a welcoming environment for survivors and community
members to share stories, access resources, and
build long-lasting connections. As a free
family-friendly gathering, attendees of all ages are
encouraged to participate. The evening will feature
speakers, food and giveaways, local resource
exploration, and numerous children's activities.
"No Voice Unheard is more than just a community
event. It’s a safe space where survivors and
community members can come together to heal, find
support, and amplify voices that deserve to be
heard,” said Tari Allan, trauma services manager at
Centerstone. “This year’s theme, ‘Rooted in Healing,
Planting Seeds of Hope,’ reminds us that healing is
a journey, and together, we can cultivate strength
and resilience.”
In addition to Centerstone, event attendees will be
able to engage with other local resources, including
Safe Children Coalition, Manatee Children Services,
HOPE Family Services, and the Manatee County
Sheriff’s Office Victim Advocate Unit.
Centerstone has a Certified Rape Crisis Center that
provides 24/7 on-call crisis response and
trauma-specific therapy. No matter when your sexual
assault occurred, you have rights and help is
