Boca Raton, Florida  – South Florida supporters, board members and friends gathered on Friday, March 13 to mark the opening of Caron Renaissance’s new 22,000-square-foot clinical campus at Beacon Square in Boca Raton. The unveiling took place amid growing concerns about the rise of substance abuse in America propelled by the current economic climate.

“Especially during these challenging times, it’s important for our community to better understand the insidious nature of substance abuse and know that resources are available,” said Sid Goodman, Clinical Director of Caron Renaissance. “We experience firsthand the devastating impact of addiction on the individual and the family. But everyday at our center – we are also witnessing amazing transformations from addiction to recovery.”

During the open house, visitors to the nonprofit addiction treatment facility were given a behind-the scenes look at the powerful clinical processes shaping the future of addiction treatment. Leading therapists and staff shared information about ground-breaking programs such as The Residential Family Restructuring Program, The Telemedicine Program, The Sexual & Trauma Recovery Program and Compulsive Gambling Program. After a light lunch, visitors were also given a tour of the state-of-the-art center.

Caron Renaissance patients reside at Fairways on the Green in Delray Beach. The residences were also recently renovated to allow for the growth of patient and family services.

About Caron Renaissance
Caron Renaissance was originally Renaissance Institute of the Palm Beaches and was founded in 1990. The program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and is licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Family Services. In March, 2003, internationally recognized Caron Treatment Centers acquired Renaissance as a longer-term care adjunct to their services. Caron Renaissance was an early pioneer in longer-term residential treatment, combining a very effective system of clinical services in an office setting with supervised residential care. Over the years, Caron Renaissance has
developed a complementary array of related clinical services as it has recognized the need to treat multiple addictions simultaneously. Attachment Disorder therapy has resulted in a
very strategic coordination of patient, family, and vocational services.  Long recognized for clinical excellence and recovery effectiveness, Caron Renaissance has continued improving its current services and developing new ones. The relationship with the medical profession has also been solidified with the addiction medicine component.
