Cool air, crisp breezes, and trees ablaze in color – its Fall! And what better way celebrate this beautiful season than with a party! Our recent Annual Celebrity Platinum Red Carpet Event in October was a Fall-tastic success!
The evening was produced by the Elite Professional Networking Group and hosted by Black Tie International Magazine,
Giorgio G Cognac, Emperors Vodka and AR-1 Supercar.
Our party was attended by guests from many different countries and a wide variety of professions. The Empire Room was packed! We could hardly move. Yet, everybody had a great time - happy to see old acquaintances and make new friends. The guests enjoyed spectacular fashion shows and wonderful entertainment. Many lucky attendees won unique door prizes. And to make the evening even more special, there was the opportunity to have pictures taken with the professional race car driver and the many beautiful models.
The night started off with some special awards presented to James Gonyo ll and Bill Walsh:
Lieutenant Colonel James C. Gonyo ll is the commander of the 1st Battalion 69th Infantry. He also serves as an Active Guard and Reserve Administrative Officer.
He holds an Associate Degree of Science in Business Administration/Accounting, and received a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology/Criminology from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. Lieutenant Colonel Gonyo is married to the former Karen Fitzgerald of Cornwall, New York, and they have three beautiful children - Brendan, Meghan, and Hunter. They reside in
New Windsor, New York.
As a true American military warrior, Lieutenant Colonel Gonyo has received numerous awards for his exceptional leadership and service both here and abroad. His dedication and sacrifice has made our country safer and stronger. We congratulate him for job well done.
Bill Walsh is the CEO and founder of Power Team International, a leading business coaching/venture capital firm. Bill hosts and speaks at events all over the world. He is an accomplished author, speaker, radio personality and movie celebrity. His passion is to empower entrepreneurs and business owners to create successful enterprises. Luca Forgeois Indy Race Car Driver is Our evening’s celebrity guest, He is the 2011 USF National Champion. Luca is from New York City, and that means he is one of our own. Last year was his rookie season in the USF 2000 National Class circuit, where he won six of his twelve races. He has now signed up with the Belardi Team, the next step for his way to the top of Indy system. Luca started racing at the age of thirteen, despite having Attention Deficit Disorder. Through hard work and discipline, he has developed the skills to compete in the world of professional racing.
Young Luca is a very hardworking guy and willing to push himself get the results necessary to become one of the best in sport. His dream is to win eight World Championships. Interestingly, Luca spends an hour a half commuting from his home in New York city's lower east side to Bay Ridge Preparatory school to continue his education as he ‘races to the top.’ Luca is only 17 years old but he has accomplished a lot already. Way to go Luca.

AR-1Supercar. As always the AR-1Supercar was the hit of the night. Even before the event started, the AR-1Supercar was surrounded by admirers. People crowded around to take pictures of the AR-1, and to have their picture taken with the AR-1. We had a hard time clearing fans away from the car when we started the photo shoots with the models, fashion designer, and Indy Race car driver.
All this attention is understandable- the AR-1Supercar is a work of art built by the automotive visionary Nick Alessi of Alessi Car Design. This is a car that out performs all other luxury sports cars. Hand crafted on a custom frame with a rigid fiberglass exterior, the AR-1 is light and agile on the street, and ultra fast on the race track. While the AR-1 has all of the interior amenities of an executive vehicle, it is powered by a twin turbo uber-engine that leaves the competition behind. With a limited production of only 50 vehicles worldwide, the car promises to a sought after collectable by automotive enthusiasts and aficionados. SSGT. Rina Rosales is our veteran of the month of October. Rina served in the New Jersey Air National Guard 108th medical
squadron, Air Frefueling Wing (1998-2000) out of McGuire AFB and the California National Guard 163rd Medical Squadron Air
Refueling 2004 with a rank of SSGT (Staff Sargeant grade: E5) as a 4PO51 (Pharmacy Technician). She served in Operation
Enduring Freedom during 200, In support of our frontline service men and women deplyed abroad.
We were entertained by two great singers - Carla V (Virola) and Shilpa Narayan.
Carla V (VIrola) an NYC based Latina Pop artist is a dynamic, original artist who’s style ranges from dance music featuring her hot dance single "Timbalero" to piano ballads such as her luscious ballad "There." She is an energetic performer that draws everyone to the dance floor..she was accompanied in the piano by Jo Biondo who is also a great singer
Shilpa Narayan is a North Carolina songstress who has released a rhythm and blues album titled "Stand Alone." While studying business and marketing in college Shilpa discovered her true passion was music and started posting her music on You Tube. Her sultry voice gained a following, and as they say in show business, ’the rest is history.’
We were also entertained by the group River Dance They prepared a special dance for our awardees.
Our fashion shows was an amazing success. Guests were enthusiastic seeing the new clothing designs and beautiful
models. The evening featured:
Lizzi London, originally from London, displayed her fall collections, consisting of cocktail dresses & evening gowns.
Dexter John, the men’s fashion designer, featured Indy Race Car Driver Luca as his headlining model. Also on the runway were Connor Spurlin, who works at Madison Square Garden and Husain Ansar of New York Life and Joseph Chinoris, a student of Farmingdale University. Achillis Loving was the only professional model in the group and also an student. We decided to use several business professionals in this show to increase audience participation and introduce executives to the fashion world
Sharon E. Clarke is a celebrity tailor who has appeared in Life Time’s fashion reality show –A 24 Hour Cat Walk. She showed her fall collection at the event. A real hit with was her stunning gold evening gown.
Our models were headed by German born model/actress Denise Dietreichs who has modeled worldwide. Denise was voted Top 20 Models in the Victoria Secret Angel Tour. Russian Born Angelina Shipilina won the title of Miss Diaspora Models International. Joining the fashion show was a new sensation -Annamarie Chinoris. And of course there were many other beautiful, elegant models brightening up the evening – they were all wonderful.
