Jill Lepore received the 2015 American History Book
Prize for The
Secret History of Wonder Woman (New
York: Knopf, 2014). She
was presented with a $50,000 cash award, an engraved
medal and the title of American Historian Laureate
on April 17, 2015, during a black-tie dinner
celebrating the New-York Historical Society's tenth
annual Chairman's Council Weekend with History
event. On
Saturday, April 18,Weekend with History continued
with a series of intimate, informal presentations by
leading historians, scholars and newsmakers.
