MISSION AND
OBJECTIVE
Created in 2009 by 36 African Ambassadors to the
United Nations in New York City, the fundamental
objective of Allied African Nations Chamber of
Commerce (AANCC) is to bring together American
business leaders and professionals to provide them
with important economic development information
based upon reliable statistical data on Africa. The
intent is to promote the potential of mutual
economic opportunities in such areas as industry,
trade, food, art, tourism, investment, public and
private contracts, and potential development
projects with Chamber of Commerce’s African Nation
Members.
The aim is to encourage and motivate the American
business community to invest in the areas of their
choice in accordance with priority needs made by
African Nations.
CORE VALUES
THE CORE VALUES OF THE AANCC:
1) STRATEGIZE - Prepare and develop a strategy for
business promotion of African nationals based in New
York and throughout the United States;
2) ASSESS - Make an assessment of the needs and
goals of the African Community, both in New York and
Africa, for the development of their business/diaspora
(If they express a desire to have satellite
representation in their respective countries);
3) NETWORK - Provide opportunities to network for
AANCC member companies to expand their customer base
through activities and interaction with other
business entities in the United States;
4) INFRASTRCTURE: Assess and evaluate for financing
and implementation of development projects such as:
Electric Power: Railroad, Bridge, Road, Hospital,
Administrative Building … etc in Africa;
5) FINNACING - Create a platform for discussions and
negotiations to develop financing strategies with
American Federal Institutions and privates investors
to help Africa
6) IMPORT/EXPORT - Create opportunities to import
and export between the United States and African
member nations;
7) TOURISM & CULTURAL ARTS - Actively promote
tourism and the Arts throughout Africa by organizing
exhibits, symposiums and conferences designed to
educate American consumers;
8) COLLABORATE – Work closely with the African
Diplomatic Corps stationed in the United States (New
York and Washington DC) to seek solutions to
problems related to development and investment in
Africa;
9) PROMOTE - Develop market strategies to promote
African products to consumers
in the united States;
