( PALM BEACH ) – Visitors from near and far helped "Seal the
Deal" at designer boutiques and specialty stores on Worth
Avenue recently to benefit children with special needs at the
Easter Seals Igoe-Amar Child Development Center. With the
purchase of goodie bags stocked with savings, gifts, coupons
and more, shoppers enjoyed a day on the world-famous Avenue
complete with musical entertainment and a raffle featuring
items donated for the event by members of the Worth Avenue
Association. “This is our second year for Seal the Deal and
it’s getting bigger and better,” said Sherry Frankel, of
Sherry Frankel's Melangerie and Worth Avenue Association
president. “We had guests who attended last year that couldn’t
wait for the event this year. The goodie bags were full of
wonderful items from the shops, restaurants and spas along the
Avenue. This year we had an outstanding raffle with more than
30 fabulous gifts.”
Recognized as one of the world’s most prestigious shopping
destinations, Worth Avenue is famous for its international
collection of designer fashions, jewelry, furniture,
restaurants, art, gift boutiques and spa salons. During the
event, guests took advantage of the unadvertised mark-downs on
designer merchandise and fabulous deals for all wallet sizes –
all for a $25 donation to Easter Seals. Proceeds benefit the
preschool children with special needs at Easter Seals’
Igoe-Amar Child Development Center , based in West Palm Beach
.
“Easter Seals is thankful for the participation of the Worth
Avenue Association and the many guests who came out to support
us,” said Rhonda Clinton, executive director for Easter Seals
Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie counties. "The success of
this event has grown, just like the children at our center.
The proceeds benefit the children and the service we are able
to offer to continue their learning and development.”
