A Day in
the Life
with
Michelle-Marie
Heinemann....
To think
of life
and the
time we
have
here...which
seems
ever so
fleeting
at
moments,
makes me
pause to
give
thanks
for all
that I
have. My
children
which
are a
constant
reminder
of all
that is
pure and
good in
the
world,
my faith
in God,
which
keeps me
grounded
and
humble...
and my
dear
husband
who is
always
devoted
to me
and
champions
the
projects
I
constantly
take on.
Last but
not
least,
friends.
I adore
my
friends
and feel
privileged
to
always
have
their
love and
support.
This
past
Tuesday,
I
attended
a lovely
party at
The Pine
Hollow
Country
Club,
where my
dear
friend
Consuelo
Vanderbilt
Costin,
sang
like a
bird as
we
celebrated
her 25A
Magazine
cover.
Cole
Rumbough,
Cassandra
Seidenfeld,
Rafael
Costin
and my
husband
were my
BFF's
for the
evening
as we
clapped
and
cheered
Consuelo
on.
This
summer
has been
so
magical.
My
husband's
polo
instructor,
is
visiting
from
Argentina
with his
family
and he
has
spoiled
us with
his
thrice-weekly
ritual
of
having
an Asado
after
the Polo
matches.
An Asado
is an
Argentine
Barbecue
consisting
of
various
meats
cooked
on an
open
fire. It
is
absolutely
delicious
and the
children
love the
shish
Kabobs.
When my
family
and I
were in
Argentina
this
past
Winter
we had
an Asado
practically
everyday....how
wonderful
it was.
My
darling
little
girl
turned
two this
past
Saturday.
I asked
her what
she
wanted
for her
birthday
and she
said a
"bay
boot"
...a bay
boot?
New
boots
perhaps?
No....this
was not
it.
After a
through
chat we
discovered
she was
saying
...bathing
suit!!
But of
coarse,
I would
like a
new bay
boot
myself!
Anyway,
it was
just to
adorable
..."bay
boot"
"bay
boot."
