Israel Cancer Association USA (ICA
USA) is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3)
organization established in 1994
in Palm Beach, Florida. The
main mission is to raise funds
for fellowships that support
cancer research conducted by
brilliant scientists at 38
hospitals, universities and
institutions in Israel for
Israel Cancer Association (ICA).
In addition to fellowships for
finding cancer cures,
fundraising efforts may also
support other vital
treatment/care projects operated
by ICA throughout the country.
ICA is the largest and oldest
health-related organization in
Israel.

Bronfman as guest speaker at the
2008 fundraising brunch and
silent auction for Israel Cancer
Association USA to be held at
the Fours Seasons Resort, Palm
Beach on Sunday, December at
11:00am. You will not want to

towering, world-renowned
Canadian philanthropist and
entrepreneur.
Mr. Bronfman
was co-chairman of The
Seagram Company and chairman
of Koor Industries Ltd.,
a leading Israeli investment
holding company focusing on
high-growth,
internationally-oriented Israeli
companies.
He established the
Andrea and Charles Bronfman
Philanthropies, Inc., a
family of charitable foundations
operating in Israel, the U.S.
and Canada whose mission is to
develop, implement and support
initiatives that strengthen the
unity of the Jewish people. One
is Birthright Israel,
which
strengthens Jewish identity and
solidarity by offering a free
10-day educational trip to
Israel for every young Jewish
adult in the world. Some
165,000 Jews from 52 countries
have participated.
His life-long
commitment to Jewish affairs led
him to serve as the first
chairman of
United Jewish Communities,
the merged North American entity
comprised of United Jewish
Appeal, Council of Jewish
Federations and United Israel
Appeal.
Mr. Bronfman also
serves on the Boards of Trustees
of several prestigious
universities and medical centers
and has received honorary
doctorate degrees from six
universities. In 1992, he was
made a
Companion of the Order of Canada
and a Member of the Queen's
Privy Council for Canada.
