For
the 32nd year, the much-anticipated American
Red Cross 2008 Designers’ Show House is underway, with
the concept and location sure to be a one-of-a-kind
experience.
Located on the eighth floor of the luxury oceanfront
condominium, 2700 North Ocean, the American Red Cross
2008 Designers’ Show House is a 9,180-sqaure foot
mansion in the sky featuring four bedrooms, six and
one-half bathrooms, and unique luxuries including a
library, separate catering kitchen and private elevator
entry to the unit.
“This
is the first time in the 32-year history of the American
Red Cross Greater Palm Beach Area Chapter that the Show
House is an oceanfront condominium,” said Desmond Keogh,
General Chairman of the Show House. “The ocean will be
an incredible backdrop to the spectacular designs of our
talented roster of participating local and national
designers.”
The
2008 Designers’ Show House will bring together
an exclusive showcase of home
collections and luxury brands featured in rooms designed
by acclaimed interior designers from across the U.S. and
the South Florida area, who will transformed the
Tower Suite at 2700 North Ocean room-by-room, showcasing
their individual talents and styles.
In
addition to the American Red Cross unit, the Designers’
Show House will also feature three additional units
designed by nationally acclaimed designers Charles Allem,
Katherine Kessler and David Linley. Individually styled
by each designer, each of the three units will reflect
the sophisticated style and talent of these stellar
names in the design world.
The
highly anticipated Show House Boutique will be spread
amongst seven rooms that span 4,000-square feet at 2700
North Ocean and feature items from around the country.
During the extended four-week run of the Show House this
year, events including a fashion show luncheon and
celebrity lecture series will take place oceanfront at
the luxurious condo.
The
Poolside Preview Party on January 16 will give guests a
first look at the Show House during the spectacular
cocktail reception and preview of the unit before it
opens to the public on January 17. Guests will have the
opportunity to enjoy fabulous food prepared by Café
Boulud, cocktails and music with a backdrop of the

About
the 2008 Designers’ Show House
The
Designers’ Show House, from January 17 – February 16,
2008, is a much-anticipated annual event, bringing
together acclaimed designers who will design and
decorate the luxury oceanfront condominium at 2700 North
Ocean room-by-room. The Show House will welcome
nationally-known interior designers in addition to those
from South Florida. The event will also incorporate the
terraces with landscape designers lending their artistic
touches to the Show House.
The
theme for the 2008 American Red Cross Designers’ Show
House is “Palm Beach Style” and will depict where
nature’s palette meets luxury island living. With a
color palette ranging from pale, electric yellow-greens
to mellow pistachios verging on mint, the theme will be
a reminder of why people live in, and visit, Palm Beach.
The
32nd Annual Designers’ Show House will
showcase exclusive designs by 16 nationally- and
locally-acclaimed designers at the ultra-luxurious
9,180-square-foot Tower Suite at 2700 North Ocean on
