Practice

night of hazing. This year, the Center
for Creative Education’s (CCE) Over the
Big Top Goes Greek – as in “college,
fraternity, band-party Greek” – and
promises to set the tone for a fun
social season on Saturday, November 22,
2008, at the Pioneer Plaza Green in West
Palm Beach.
An evening inspired by
college Greek life, Over the Big Top
Goes Greek takes guests back in time to
their alma mater – while keeping them
guessing who will be pinned and who will
be big man on campus this Fall.
Featuring dinner, dancing, inflatable
Sumo wrestling, a fun digital photo
booth, and the crowning moment for the
event’s homecoming king and queen, Over
the Big Top Goes Greek will start off
Palm Beach’s social season with an
Animal House inspired blow-out.
“I am proud to be part of
such a successful and fun event each
year,” said Susie Dwinell, co-chair for
the fourth annual event with Blair
Griffin and Keith Williams. “Each year
this event grows bigger and bigger – and
sets the tone for a fabulous season. We
couldn’t do it without the generosity of
CCE’s supporters and friends. With the
new Center opening in the Spring, the
funds raised at this event will benefit
the expanded programming offered through
CCE.”
CCE is a not-for-profit educational
organization that supports partnerships
among schools, arts and cultural
organizations, artists, community-based
organizations, and human service
providers. CCE partners integrate the
arts into academic curriculum and
out-of-school activities in Palm Beach
County. CCE will open its Kluge Center
for Creative Education in Spring 2009 –
allowing for on-site creative education
in the arts for all ages.
