Israel Cancer Association USA (ICA
USA) is a nonprofit 501 © (3)
organization established in 1994 in
Palm Beach, Florida. The main
mission is to raise funds for
fellowships that support cancer
research conducted by brilliant
scientists at 38 hospitals,
universities and institutions in
Israel for Israel Cancer Association
(ICA). In addition to fellowships
for finding cancer cures,
fundraising efforts may also support
other vital treatment/care projects
operated by ICA throughout the
country. ICA is the largest and
oldest health-related organization
in Israel.

Lexye Aversa is director
of the Women's Chamber of Commerce
of Palm Beach County and a director
of the Palm Beach County Hotel &
Lodging Association.
She is a 2005 recipient
of Northwood University’s Arthur E.
Turner Excellence in
Entrepreneurship Award for
Outstanding Community Involvement
and was a finalist for the 2008
Champions for Women in Business
Award sponsored by the Women's
Congress.
Among the many gala
fundraising events she has chaired
in Palm Beach are: Il Circolo, the
Italian Cultural Society of the Palm
Beaches (2004, 2005, 2006); the
2006 Designer Show House for
American Lung Association of
Florida; the Women’s Chamber/LPGA
ADT Championship Breakfast at Mar-a-Lago
(2006, 2007, 2008) and co-chair of
the Palm Beach Round Table 2008
gala.
Mrs. Aversa has
also served on multiple
philanthropic gala committees:
American Heart Association, AKIM,
Alzheimer's Community Care, Caron
Foundation, ADT Championship Host
Committee and more.
She is a member of the
Palm Beach County Convention &
Visitors Bureau, and sits on its
Strategic Marketing Council and
Groups/Meetings Committee. Other
