Ruth Rales Jewish Family Service (RRJFS)
will hold its Annual Gala at
6:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 4th at
Woodfield Country Club
in Boca Raton, Florida. The special event, "Rock N' Roll is Here to Stay!"
will feature Johnny Maestro and the
Brooklyn Bridge and The Tokens. The gala
includes a cocktail reception, lavish
dinner and an auction. Proceeds will
benefit RRJFS, a non-profit,
non-sectarian social service agency;
which is the lead agency serving seniors
in south Palm Beach County.
Gala co-chair Arnold Friedman said,
"Last year our agency served 35,000
people of all faiths, many of them frail
seniors. We want to raise funds to make
sure the agency can uphold its mission
of serving the most vulnerable
individuals in our area."
"We are very proud to chair this event,
because the work of RRJFS is so
important. It's going to be a delightful
evening," said Wendy Legum. She and her
husband Wayne are co-chairing, with
Isabel & Arnold Friedman.
RRJFS Executive Director Dr. Jaclynn
Faffer said, "Our galas are always fun
and lively. We will be honoring the
philanthropic work of Marilyn & Stan
Barry and Linda & Ivan Gefen in our ad
journal."
Auction prizes will include gift
certificates, artwork, sports
memorabilia and vacation packages to
destinations throughout the world.
Reservations required by Nov. 14th.
