will be honored at the
sixth annual Tuesday’s
Children Fall Gala,
“A Toast to New
York”
at The Rainbow
Room. Tuesday’s Children, a
nonprofit organization that
provides services and
programs to the entire 9/11
community will pay tribute
to all four honorees for
their unwavering and
compassionate support of
9/11 families and rescues
and recovery workers.
The organization will also
present the first annual
“Spirit of 9/11 Award”
to 13-year old Jacob Miller,
a young man who donated
money from his Bar Mitzvah
to support a new
international Tuesday’s
Children initiative called
Project Common Bond.
Proceeds will benefit
Tuesday’s Children’s
wide-range of services and
resources including
mentoring for children,
next-step life skills,
leadership training for
adults, and services for
rescue and recovery
workers. The cocktail
fundraiser will include
food, awards ceremony, live
music, and live and silent
auctions.
