West Palm Beach, FL – “Casa Carioca,”
a fabulous 13,000 square foot estate at the Bear’s
Club in Jupiter was the breathtaking setting for a
gift gathering party heralding final plans for the
upcoming Alzheimer’s Community Care gala Carnival
in Rio. The home was generously donated for use
as the celebration venue, by Dan Reedy of Offshore
Construction Development.
The more than 200 guests in attendance enjoyed
dinner and refreshments courtesy of Carrabba’s
Italian Grill, Southern Wine and Spirits, Seasons
52, Perfect Vodka, Leblon and Red Bull. Guests were
also treated to a sample of the gala’s planned
entertainment with a Brazilian samba exhibition by
the international ballroom dance team of Warren and
Babette Brown.
Carnival in Rio, the highly
anticipated black-tie gala, benefiting Alzheimer’s
Community Care, is scheduled for Friday, January 9,
2009 at the Mar-a-Lago Club, Palm Beach. Gala
Chairs are Geri and Frank Morrow, Honorary Chair is
Hermé de Wyman Miro, Host Chairs are Donald and
Melania Trump and the Celebrity Chair is Lainie
Kazan. Entertainment will feature the Steven Chase
Orchestra, a Brazilian Dance Troupe and Warren and
Babette Brown.
