WEST PALM BEACH, FL. (January 26,
2009) – More than 300 guests gathered January 14 at the stunning
home at 1125 North Flagler Drive in historic Providencia Park
for a first look at the 2009 American Red Cross Designers’ Show
House, which opened officially on January 15 and will be open to
the public through February 14.
Guests arriving to the expansive
1936 Providencia House were greeted by a gorgeous view
overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway as they made their way up
the front steps into the welcoming foyer. This years sprawling
residence features 19 distinct work spaces which showcase the
time, dedication and resources donated by the extraordinary
group of locally, nationally and internationally renowned
designers.
“We were incredibly fortunate to
have acquired a house which so precisely captures the history
and theme of the Palm Beach area,” says Desmond Keogh, General
Chairman. “This year’s Show House is a truly magnificent
reflection of the diversity of taste and individuality of each
of this year’s volunteering designers.”

of modern Morocco and Northern Africa and the grandeur of the

available in the world of home electronics and entertaining.
