(Palm
Beach Gardens) –The DoubleTree Hotel in Palm Beach Gardens was the
place to be for Easter Seals Celebrity Bartending event. Nearly 150
Easter Seals supporters cheered on guest celebrity bartenders as
they mixed and stirred to support children with special needs and
disabilities at Easter Seals Igoe-Amar Child Development Center in
West Palm Beach.
“Our celebrity bartenders did a fantastic job
serving great drinks and representing the organization,” said Rhonda
Clinton, executive director for Easter Seals Palm Beach, Martin and
St. Lucie counties. “It was wonderful to see so many of our
supporters at the DoubleTree Hotel and we are so grateful to them
for opening their doors to us. The hotel’s service and the musical
entertainment by Jammin’ Jim added to the event’s success!”
Celebrity bartenders included event Chairmen Virginia Lang of WiLD
95.5 and Jay Cashmere of WPTV NewsChannel 5. Easter Seals board
member Rick Sartory, along with Travis Thompson, D.M.D., and Easter
Seals Tiptoe through the Tulips committee member Donna Lewis also
lent a hand during the event.
The
Celebrity Bartending event is one of many great events Easter Seals
will be hosting this season. Other events include: the 5th
Annual Tiptoe through the Tulips ladies fashion show and luncheon,
scheduled for March 6th at Frenchman’s Reserve in Palm
Beach Gardens. On May 2nd the race is on, as the Derby
Day Party returns in grand glamorous style at the International Polo
Palm Beach. Try your luck in making a hole in one at the Timothy C.
Roche Memorial Golf Classic on May15th, also being held at
Frenchman’s Reserve.
Easter
Seals helps children with disabling conditions due to birth,
disease, accident or injury by providing physical, occupational,
