New York, April 24, 2007 - It may be springtime, but for
financial wizards and children’s museum lovers it’s
summertime, and the surf was splashing on 23rd street for CMEE
at the Beach. Benefiting the Children’s Museum of the East End
(CMEE - pronounced “see me”). The night was hosted by NBC’s
Brian Williams and the live auction led by CNBC’s Dylan Ratigan,
both of whom kept the evening and the live bidding
entertaining and hilarious. The cocktail, dinner and live
auction was held at the Toy Building at Cipriani in Manhattan.
The Children’s Museum of the east End (CMEE) is an adventurous
wonderland for children’s imaginations - celebrating and
exploring the history, beauty and treasures (including
potatoes!) of the East End of Long Island. Through interactive
hands-on exhibits, as well as workshops, classes and programs,
CMEE provides a stimulating and dynamic environment where
childr en can discover their community and its culture through
history, natural sciences and the arts. CMEE seeks to nurture
and cultivate a lifelong love and self-directed learning and
discovery. |
