New York, NYC - Interior designers Tony Ingrao and Randy
Kemper were honored at the Horticultural Society of New York’s
10th Anniversary Spring gala, Flowers & Design at Gustavino’s
on East 59th Street, on Tuesday evening April 17, 2007.
The elegant evening of cocktails and dinner showcased unique
and spectacular floral table designs created by 40 of the
city’s best floral, fashion and interior designers including
Tony Ingrao and Randy Kemper, DeJuan Stroud, Hermes, David
Beahm, Philip Baloun, Renny & Reed, Van Vliet & Trap, and many
more. The event’s theme, The Four Seasons, inspired designers
to display an array of magnificent flowers, brilliant colors
and cascading textures and prints. Event and floral designer
DeJuan Stroud fashioned a modern twist of spring eloquence,
filling the table with citrus colors of green and yellow,
candle votives, and a woven candle lit chandelier.
The event supports the Horticultural Society’s community
outreach programs which include environmental education
classes in under-funded public schools, lovely gardens at
public libraries, and a vocational program that provides
inmates, both during their incarceration and after their
release, with skills to help them gain employment. For more
