New York, NY - April 30, 2007. The Irvington Institute for
Immunological Research hosted its 25th annual Through he
Kitchen Dinner at the Four seasons Restaurant on Sunday, April
29th and raised over $300,000 for the organization. NBC anchor
Perri Peltz and her husband Vice President of Goldman Sachs
International Eric Ruttenberg along with Liz and Jeff Peek
hosted the special evening. For the fifth year, event designer
DeJuan Stroud worked his magic creating themed tables for each
of the Departments of New york City with Mayor Michael
Bloomberg and Diana Taylor, Police Commissioner Ray Kelly and
his wife Veronica, Chancellor of the NYC Department of
Education Joel Klein and Nicole Seligman among the notables in
attendance.
Irvington Institute’s mission is to be a leading non-profit
supporter of outstanding research in immunology and each year
chooses postdoctoral fellows that are dedicated to the resear
ch of diseases that affect all our lives such as cancer, AIDS,
diabetes, lupus, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis and
