Sound
Hadassah
will present
a benefit
reading of
Eve Ensler’s
award
winning
play,
The Vagina
Monologues.
The
performances
will take
place at
Broken Sound
Country Club
on March 9th
and 10th
at 7:30pm.
The
production
will help
fund
Hadassah’s
programs to
increase
awareness
and stop
violence
against
women and
girls as
part of the
global V-Day
campaign.
Over 4000
V-Day
benefits
took place
around the
world last
year raising
funds and
awareness
towards
ending
violence
against
women. Since
1998, V-Day
and these
highly
successful
events have
raised over
$60 million
for local
beneficiaries.

bringing
The Vagina
Monologues
to the south Florida region. We’ve enlisted approximately
25 talented
Broken Sound
women and
other local
residents
along with
Cantor Ken
Stuart Blatt
of Temple
Beth Kodesh
in Boynton Beach as our director to put together
two terrific
theatrical
performances,”

Co-President.
“We hope to
increase
community
awareness
about this
global
problem and
encourage
greater
involvement
in the
growing
movement to
end violence
against
women and
girls here
and in
countries
throughout
the world.”
The Vagina
Monologues
will be
performed at
Broken Sound
Country Club
