West Palm Beach –
The
Norton Museum of Art will host its Third
Biennial Photography Auction Friday, March
20, 2009 at the Norton Museum. The Event
Chairmen are Dale and Doug Anderson,
Roberta and Richard Brudner, Joan and Lee
Daniels, Aimee Harris and Tommy Morrison
with Kelly and Michael Gottlieb, Sandy Heine,
Fran Kaufman, and Donna Schneier and Leonard
Goldberg serving as the Host Committee
Chairmen.
This
exciting evening promises to be both
memorable and fast-paced. Food and spirits
will be provided and proceeds from the
Auction will benefit the Museum’s future
photography acquisitions and
exhibitions. There will be silent and live
auctions featuring over 50 works by
nationally and internationally recognized
artists at the forefront of photography. A
catalogue with images of each work in the
Auction and information on each artist will
be available at the beginning of March. An

The
Norton Museum of Art is open
Monday–Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday,
1 to 5 p.m. (Closed Mondays from May through
October and on major holidays.) General
admission is $8 for adults, $3 for visitors
ages 13-21, and free for Members and
children under 13. West Palm Beach
residents receive free admission to the
Museum Collection every Saturday, with proof
of residency. Palm Beach County residents
receive free admission to the Museum
Collection the first Saturday of each month,
with proof of residency. An additional
charge may apply for special exhibitions.
