Fore! Abilis Holds Fourth Annual
Golf Scramble
Players Hit the Links on
Thursday, June 15,
at Sterling Farms Golf Course
Abilis, the non-profit
organization that provides services and supports for
more than 800 individuals with special needs and
their families in Fairfield County, will hold its
fourth annual Golf Scramble on Thursday,
June 15, at Sterling Farms Golf Course in
Stamford, Connecticut. The event is $200 per player
for the round of golf and lunch. To register, visit abilis.us/calendar.
“This annual Golf Scramble is a wonderful
opportunity to enjoy a beautiful day playing a round
of golf while supporting Abilis,” noted Amy
Montimurro, CEO, and president of Abilis. “Funds
raised from this fun event will support the Sound
Therapy program at Abilis. Sound Therapy provides a
calming environment for our community members by
utilizing specialized scents, vibrations and sound.
It’s an important part of our therapy and one that
has been traditionally under-funded, so dedicating
the Golf Scramble to supporting this program is
exciting.”
The June 15 Abilis Golf Scramble includes a
wonderful round of golf, breakfast, a BBQ lunch and
prizes. Tee off with a shotgun start is at 7:00 a.m.
and the event ends at 3:00 p.m.
