( PALM BEACH ) – More than 200
guests participated in Easter Seals’
recent “Seal the Deal” shopping
event with the Worth Avenue
Association. The benefit featured a
day of shopping at Worth Avenue’s
designer boutiques and specialty
stores, along with a “Starlebrity
Bartending” pre-party earlier in the
month at Chesterfield ’s Leopard
Lounge. All proceeds benefit
preschool-aged children with
disabilities at Easter Seals
Igoe-Amar Child Development
Center.
Easter Seals Igoe-Amar
Child Development Center in West
Palm Beach is the area’s only
full-time center for children of
ALL abilities. Easter Seals
helps children with disabling
conditions due to birth, disease,
accident or injury through pediatric
speech, physical, occupational and
behavioral therapies made available
in a preschool setting. These
services help prepare children for
success in school while affording
parents an opportunity to continue
their careers or education.
“Timed with our summer
sales, Seal the Deal gave
participants fabulous gifts and
savings at our stores through the
purchase of a goody bag,” said
Sherry Frankel, president of the
Worth Avenue Association and owner
of Sherry Frankel’s Melangerie. “We
were proud to host this event for
Easter Seals. It feels good knowing
that we contribute to the success of
the children at the Center – and we
have a little fun while we’re doing
it.”
Recognized as one of the
world’s most prestigious shopping
destinations, Worth Avenue is famous
for its international collection of
designer fashions, jewelry,
furniture, restaurants, art, gift
boutiques and spa salons. Seal the
Deal offered guests a day of
shopping with extra deals,
entertainment, refreshments and two
prize drawings of gifts from stores
along the Avenue.
“We thank the Worth
Avenue Association and all the
volunteers for their hard work to
make this day a success,” said
Rhonda Clinton, executive director
for Easter Seals Palm Beach, Martin
and St. Lucie counties. "The
services and therapies we offer at
our Center are critical for the
children we serve and we are
grateful for everyone who came out
to support our children!”
