Tuesday, June 17th was a
historic night in
Harlem
as The Arts Horizons LeRoy Neiman
Art Center opened its doors to
the public. After 30 years
working in the trenches of
New York City's
public schools,
Arts Horizons
cut the red ribbon to their first
ever permanent residence.
This
exciting event was made possible by
a million dollar donation by
legendary artist LeRoy Neiman.
The
evening was a hit as city officials
and socialites gathered in
celebration
of
the new addition to the Central
Harlem Community. Arts
Horizons has brought over
7,000,000 children in the tri-state
area quality arts education since
1978.
After 30 years of service, the
Arts
Horizons
LeRoy
Neiman
Art
Center
is the best birthday gift that Arts
Horizons could ever hope to receive.
