Virtually everyone has been surprised how
efficient we are working from home because of TECH. Savings
in time and money are significant and many leaders allege
more work gets done because meetings are shorter and gossip
harder to do .
With Filipinos spending 2-4 hours per day in
transit, work-from-anywhere technology has emerged as the
biggest opportunity for improving our business and personal
lives. Functions as diverse as HR, IT, customer service,
training, accounting, marketing, supply chain, on and on,
are remarkably easy to do, partly or entirely, online.
Giant employers like BPO/Shared Services can
expand their talent pool tremendously and offer
work-from-home incentives to retain high value employees and
attract recruits. Women with children are particularly
empowered as most leaders complain they lose their best
employees
because they get pregnant.
