Edward R.
Matthews, CEO of ADAPT Community Network,
announced today that ADAPT is moving its annual
ADAPT Family Connect Summit to a virtual platform
for 2020.
|

The summit will take place on Monday,
October 19. |
“The virtual event will offer professionals, families, and
self-advocates the latest information regarding intellectual
and developmental disability services and supports for
children and adults,” says Edward R. Matthews.
|
|
“The summit offers a variety
of sessions presented by experts, industry leaders, and
public officials in various topic areas.” |
|
In addition,
ADAPT’s Family Connect Summit will provide information for
families on the latest in technology, equipment, and virtual
learning. Last year, over 600 people registered for the
summit. |
Join Edward
R. Matthews, CEO of ADAPT Community Network,
and elected officials from the City and the State of New
York, in a discussion about programs and policies addressing
the needs of people with disabilities.

Matthews will moderate a
legislative panel discussion and
will be joined by other industry leaders and public
officials to provide an update on the services landscape and
what people can expect in the coming year, as well as offer
insight, guidance, and advice for families. |
