The Dubin Breast Center of The Tisch Cancer
Institute at The Mount Sinai Health System held its 2nd Annual
Fresh Air event at the Bridgehampton Tennis & Surf Club
hosted by Wendy Hakim on Monday, July 13th.
Guests had the opportunity to meet and hear from Mount Sinai
Health System experts in breast cancer, lifestyle medicine,
and women’s health. The lovely summer morning featured
organic juices and a light brunch. Gift bags were provided
by Harry Winston.
Among the guests were celebrity stylist
Rachel Zoe and Ina Garten, author and host of Barefoot
Contessa on the Food Network, as well as Dubin Breast Center
supporters including Lorinda Ash, Robin Aviv, Laura DeMare,
Pamela Glassman, Mesi Jilly-Shashoua, Chris Mack, Tricia
Pantzer, Zibby Right, Amanda Salzhauer, Nancy Steir, Nina
Wexler, and Caryn Zucker.
The speakers included Elisa Port, MD, FACS,
Co-Director of the Dubin Breast Center and Chief of Breast
Surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital; Michael Brodman, MD, Ellen
and Howard C. Katz, Chairman’s Chair of the Department of
Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science; Jeffrey
Mechanick, MD, Director of Metabolic Support in the Division
of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Bone Disease; and Emily
Sonnenblick, MD, Assistant Professor of Radiology.
The Dubin Breast Center of The Tisch Cancer
Institute provides a multidisciplinary, comprehensive
approach to breast cancer screening, treatment and
survivorship. Located at The Mount Sinai Hospital’s main
campus on New York City’s Upper East Side, the
15,000-square-foot facility houses a full range of services,
including cancer screening and biopsies, cancer treatment
including surgery, chemotherapy and radiation, wellness,
patient and family support services, education, genetic
counseling and testing, onco-fertility services, access to
clinical trials, and survivorship support. The Center sees
patients from every New York City neighborhood and
throughout the Tri-State area, and provides full access to
optimal care regardless of their ability to pay.

treatment and research, the Dubin Breast Center focuses on
the holistic health and well-being of individuals with or at
risk for cancer. Patients receive highly personalized,
multidisciplinary care in a calming, private, and supportive
