June 15th to
kickoff
“Forward to
the Future,”
Southampton
Hospital’s
55th Annual
Summer
Party, which
will take
place on
August 3rd.
Hospital

of Directors

Remmel
FitzSimmons and
this year’s
Chairwoman Jean
Shafiroff welcomed
supporters
including Jessie and Rand
Araskog,
Cindy and Ladd
Willis,
Nancy Stone,

Schuster

Nancy Jane and Jeffrey
Lowey, Myra and Dr.
Frank Weiser, among
others. Proceeds
from this
year’s
Summer Party
will benefit
the new Audrey
and Martin
Gruss Heart
and Stroke
Center and The
Jenny and
John Paulson
Emergency
Department.
Jean
Shafiroff
expressed
gratitude to
this year's
chairs
including Allen
& Co.,
Barclays,
Douglas
Elliman,
Sequin and
as well as
to the
event’s
honorary
chair, Audrey
Gruss.
Robert S.
Chaloner
thanked
those in
attendance
for their
commitment
to support
the
Hospital’s
Emergency
Department
and the
Audrey and
Martin Gruss
Heart and
Stroke
Center, and
also
mentioned
his
appreciation
for the
Hospital’s
collaboration
with
ArtSouthampton.
For the
first time,
the Summer
Party will
be held in
ArtSouthampton’s
air-conditioned,
75,000
square foot
pavilion,
transformed
by the the
creativity
of Antony
Todd,
where guests
will enjoy
music by The
Alex Donner
Orchestra and
catering by Robbins
Wolfe
Eventeurs.
