HAMPTONS TO
BENEFIT
WOUNDED
WARRIOR
PROJECT &
RESERVEAID

On Saturday,
August 18th
crowds of
Wounded
Warrior
Project and
ReserveAid
supporters
turned up at
the Stephen
Talkhouse in
Amagansett
to vote for
their
favorite
band
competing in
Wall Street
Rocks Battle
of the Bands
Round 2.
Competing
financial
bands
included
The
Subscribers,
The Moroccan
Sheepherders
and
The Holiday
Electric,
a group
comprised of
a Hedge Fund
CFO, an
asset
manager and
a former
Warner
Brothers
recording
artist. The
event
included
special
guest
performances
by
C3
(The
Chocolate
Cuckoo
Clocks) and
Madame
Mayhem,
who is
releasing
her debut
album “White
Noise” in
the fall.
Guests
including
David
Hudson,
Cassandra
Seidenfeld,
Jennifer
Tripodi,
Donna Drake,
Leesa
Rowland
and
Larry Wohl,
Robin Cofer
and
Domenick
D’Alleva,
Jane
and
Joe
Pontarelli,
came out to
show their
support of
Wall Street
Rocks and
the
charities it
benefits.
Wall Street
Rocks is a
collaboration
of employees
in the
financial,
technology
and
entertainment
industries,
who are
passionate
about giving
support to
heroic
Americans
who serve
our nation,
including
military
veterans and
first
responders. Last
year,
through one
benefit
concert at
Irving
Plaza, Wall
Street Rocks
was able to
raise
$257,000 for
veteran’s
charities
and this
year is
looking to
double that.
This year's
fundraising
efforts
kicked off
with a
sold-out
first round
of
competition
at Mercury
Lounge on
July 10th in
NYC. Wall
Street Rocks
will return
to NYC on
October 30th
for the
third round
of Battle of
the Bands.
The series
will
culminate in
a final
round gala
event in
December,
which will
feature
performances
by the
winners of
the
preliminary
three rounds
alongside
guest acts.
