philanthropist and global icon Meera Gandhi has played many
roles over the course of her life. As the founder and CEO of
The Giving Back Foundation, Meera has travelled the world in
service of the underprivileged. As a former volunteer at
Ashadaan, she learnt the joy of self-sacrifice from Mother
Teresa herself. As a mother, she raised her three children
while successfully managing her philanthropic, business and
social engagements. |

Black Tie International Magazine spotted Meera
Gandhi
in LA yesterday as she attended Elton John’s Academy Awards
Viewing Party which raises both money and awareness for
his charity the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
The venue in West Hollywood was packed to capacity with
glitterati and celebrities alike. Truly a night to remember!
New York was represented in a large way with notables
including
Bob Kraft, Betsy Johnson, Jane Seymour,
Fran Drescher,
Adam Lambert (of American Idol fame) who moved
to NYC a few months ago, Miss USA (originally from
Nebraska) and many others.
Lola Young performed Messy and Dua
Lipa stayed the whole night enjoying the festivities
from Elton John and David Furnish’s table.
An excellent evening indeed!
