International philanthropist and global icon Meera Gandhi has played many roles over the course of her life. As the founder and CEO of The Giving Back Foundation, Meera has travelled the world in service of the underprivileged. As a former volunteer at Ashadaan, she learnt the joy of self-sacrifice from Mother Teresa herself. As a mother, she raised her three children while successfully managing her philanthropic, business and social engagements. 

When asked her what she  hoped for from the administration change,
she replied with calm clarity.

"Peaceful co-existence for all is the ONLY right way forward. 
Sending young people to their death in various parts of the world
 is astonishing in this day and age.

Leaders must resolve issues and not send innocents out to die.

I think we will have peace and less wars and I am hopeful for
Peace and Cease Fires all over the world."

She continued,  "The party vested in interest should not be a divider. 
We are one race and should all thrive together and enjoy our progress, especially those of us in the USA,  a Truly GREAT Country!"

Well, it certainly seems as if  Meera Gandhi met many amazing people and learned much at the various Inaugural Balls.
