Israel USA’s
41-story,
267,000-square-foot
Clock Tower
building at
5 Madison Avenue.
The real
estate
development
company
offered up
space in the
building’s
lobby to be
used for a
charity toy
drive, which
was held by
Volunteers
of America.
The toy
drive
received an
overwhelmingly
positive
response,
with
hundreds of
toys amassed
in a section
of the
building’s
lobby. The
event ran
from
December 9th
to 15th.
In October,
AFI USA
announced it
had signed
agreement to
sell the
Clock Tower
Building at 5 Madison Avenue to an undisclosed buyer
for $165
million. The
announcement
was made by
Tamir Kazaz,
CEO of AFI
USA. “We are delighted to have
reached an
agreement
with a very
credit-worthy
buyer to
secure the
future of
this
remarkable
building and
support the
burgeoning
vitality of
the Madison Square Park neighborhood,” Kazaz said.
