WHAT:          Broadway Sings for Pride will kickoff NYC Gay Pride 2013 by celebrating with their third annual Gay Pride benefit concert.  To celebrate, Broadway Sings will preview musical numbers from their upcoming June 24th show as well as for the press at New York staple, The Townhouse Piano Bar www.townhouseny.com   located at 236 East 58th Street between 2nd and 3rd.

Broadway Sings for Pride will kickoff NYC Gay Pride 2013 by celebrating with their third annual Gay Pride benefit concert.   The special one-night benefit entitled " Unite" with join forces with American Idol and Billboard recording artistic Kimberley Locke, American Idol and Rent star Anwar Robinson and over 20 members of the Broadway community.  The concert will benefit the Hetrick-Martin Institute and Broadway Sings for Pride.  There will also be special speakers including a message of hope from The Tyler Clementi Foundation.  The night will be hosted by award winning host from the hit show "truTV Presents: the World's Dumbest" Scott Nevins with staging by Rachele Rommes (Minnesota Timberwolves choreographer).

Audiences will join in the celebration by hearing some of their favorite New York performers sing pop hits, mashups, Broadway classics as well as feature stories of LGBT pride. The event will be held at the Iguana NYC  in New York City on Monday, June 24, 2012 at 8pm.
