9th Annual
Gala Concert
and Dinner,
held at the
Jumeirah
Essex House
in NYC on
May 17th,
2011, was
one of our
most
exciting
evenings
yet. In
addition to
hearing our
wonderful
young opera
singers who
are our 2011
Grant
Winners, we
honored
Metropolitan
Opera Stars
Denyce
Graves and
Lucine Amara.
Both
captivated
the audience
as they
received our
Distinguished
Achievement
Awards.

mission is
to provide
grants,
expert
mentoring,
training and
performance
opportunities
over a
period of
three years
to the
highly
talented
young
singers. To
date, due to
the help of
friends like
you, we are
proud to say
that 45 of
our winners
have
launched
their
careers and
6 have
signed
contracts
with the
Metropolitan
Opera.
