Harvest's young professionals group, Generation Harvest,
held its tenth annual Summer in the City restaurant
tasting and cocktail party on Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at the
Metropolitan Pavilion in Manhattan
(125 West 18th Street, New York, NY). The VIP
hour began at 6:30 p.m. and the tasting & silent auction
took place from 7:30 p.m.-10:00 p.m. Summer in the City
provided guests with the opportunity to see some of the
city's newest culinary stars in action. This year, Summer
in the City featured a musical performance by Savoir
Adore.

included Ardesia Wine Bar, Armani Ristorante 5th
Avenue, Artisanal, Bark Hot Dogs featuring Dickenson's
Farmstand Meats, Beauty & Essex, Benchmark Restaurant,

No.4, Ciao Bella Gelato, Colleen Mullaney Drink Station,

featured Heartland Brewery, Ithaca Beer, and Sixpoint
Brewery.
Tickets
to this year's Summer in the City ranged from $150 -
$250 and ticket packages from $2,500 - $10,000. The event
attracted over 600 guests and raised $270,000, with the
silent auction raising over $22,000, to support City
Harvest�s work feeding New York�s hungry.
