A NYC Kentucky Derby viewing party for the 145th "Run the the Roses" was hosted by Philanthropist Jean Shafiroff with mint juleps flowing, food tastings, a fancy hat contest and derby chic outfits.  The event was held at Soujourn Restaurant in NYC, May 5, 2018

The  Kentucky Derby is known as "The Most Exciting Two Minutes In Sports."  The first Kentucky Derby race took place in 1875.  Last year 167,227 fans attended the Derby with millions from around the world watching on television.
