Society’s
Annual Gala
took place
on Saturday,
January 22,
2011 at The
Mar-a-Lago
Club, Palm
Beach.
The event
began with a
cocktail
reception
taking place
around the
pool where
guests were
treated to
sumptuous
hors
d’oeuvres
and Gypsy
fortune
tellers. The
more than
300 guests
also mingled
in the white
and gold
ballroom
while
bidding on
an array of
fantastic
silent
auction
items.
After
cocktails,
guests entered
the
ballroom,
which was transformed
by
Sutra
International
into a scene
right out of
“A Gypsy
Caravan”.
The event’s
Master of
Ceremonies,
Tim Byrd,
welcomed
everyone and
then
introduced
Ferenc
Illenyi, his
band of
Gypsys and
the Fred
Astaire
Dancers.
The Gala
Chairmen,
Geri and
Frank
Morrow, were
then
introduced
by Donald
Trump and
thanked all
in
attendance
for their
support.
Special
recognition
was given to
Lighthouse
Partners for
their
continued
support over
the past
several
years and to
Patrick Park
and Nathalie
Fernandez
for their
support as
Benefactors
of this
year’s
Gala. Also
recognized
this evening

Annual
Gala’s

the crowd to
tears and
encouraged a
giving
spirit
during the
live
auction.
