for The Salvation Army

Palm Beach,
FL) - The
Salvation
Army Men’s
Committee
held their
annual “A
Night Out
with the
Dogs” on
Friday,
November
4th. The
party was
hosted by
the Men’s
Committee
Chairmen;
Joe
Gallagher
and Andrew
Smith. This
exciting
social event
was held in
The Paddock
Room at the
Palm Beach
Kennel Club
with
approximately
50 people in
attendance.
Guests were
served a
meal
consisting
of either
English Cut
Prime Rib or
Golden
Breast of
Capon while
observing
the dog
races and
raffle items
up for
grabs. The
event raised
funds to
support
Christmas
programs
provided by
The
Salvation
Army of Palm
Beach
County. “The
holiday
season is a
critical
time of the
year for the
Salvation
Army,” said
Area
Commander,
Major Thomas
McWilliams,
“we are
energized by
the proceeds
but look to
raise as
much as we
possibly can
to support
the
community
this
Christmas
season.”
“A Night Out
with the
Dogs” is a
pre-event to
The
Salvation
Army 40th
Annual
Christmas
Ball to be
held on
Friday,
December 3rd
at The Beach
Club which
will feature
Rudy
Giuliani.

person by

If you are
unable to
attend this
black-tie
event and
would like
to support
The
Salvation
Army this
Christmas
season look
for our Red
Kettles
throughout
the
community.
82 cents of
every dollar
received by
The
Salvation
Army goes
directly to
programming.
The Better
Business
Bureau asks
charities to
allocate no
more than 35
% of their
budget to
administrative
expenses,
the
Salvation
Army cuts
this
allowance in
half.
