David Pratt Honored by
Jewish Community Foundation’s
Professional Advisory Committee (PAC) at
7th Annual Mitzvah Society Cocktail Reception
The
local estate planning professionals of the Professional
Advisory Committee (PAC) of the Jewish Community
Foundation came together to honor their own at the 7th
Annual Mitzvah Society Cocktail Reception on March 23.
The room at St. Andrews Country Club radiated warmth and
pride as 160 guests paid tribute to this year’s Mitzvah
Society Honoree, David Pratt. Al Gortz and Don Tescher
co-chaired the event, which began with Pratt’s
brainstorm seven years ago.
A
managing partner at Proskauer, David Pratt is the Chair
of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County's
Jewish Community Foundation (JCF). He also previously
chaired JCF's Professional Advisory Committee (PAC).
David is the founder of the PAC's Mitzvah Society, which
recognizes professionals who cultivate new Federation
donors, and he is a Chair of the PAC mission to
Israel that will take
place this
May.
The
Mitzvah Society recognizes the now 53 committed
individuals whose
client referrals have resulted in an Endowment gift to the Federation’s
Jewish Community Foundation. Burt Moss and Steven
Greenwald were inducted as new Mitzvah Society members
at the reception. This year’s “repeat” Mitzvah Society
members were also acknowledged: David Pratt, Marjorie
Horwin,
Al Gortz, Don Tescher, Elyssa Kupferberg, Mark Schaum,
Marcy Robbins, Richard Steinberg and Adam Bankier.
