About Fresh Rx
FreshRx aims
to narrow the gap between nutrition, health and the
treatment of disease through an innovative farm-to-hospital
initiative which enables doctors at the Jupiter Medical
Center to write fresh produce prescriptions to patients who
have been advised to change their diets. Lox Farms produce
is grown according to organic practices without exposure to
synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. A weekly bag of
certified naturally grown produce will be provided free of
charge to cancer, heart and pediatric patients at JMC.
