Boynton Beach, Florida – (March 8, 2011)
The gates of St. Vincent de Paul
Regional Seminary opened to more than
650 people clad in red and green, as the
3rd Annual Joe-Paddy Festival kicked off
. The festival, which celebrates the
feasts of St. Joseph and St. Patrick,
took place on seminary grounds under
perfect skies. The evening began with an
extensive silent auction. Throughout the
night, Jim and Laura Farrell performed
Irish folk music and Michael Matone and
The Masters of
Jazz, entertained with Sinatra and other
Italian favorites. Guests enjoyed
traditional Italian and Irish foods and
drinks as well as a live auction. Master
of Ceremonies, Msgr. Stephen Bosso, gave
a stellar performance as did the live
auctioneer duo,
Dan and Mimi Meister.
The Student Council, headed by
President, Deacon Tim Holeda, was
largely responsible for Parish ticket
sales and all aspects of service during
the festival. A portion of event
proceeds goes directly
to the Student Council to use to benefit
student life on campus.
The balance of net income supports the
general operating budget of the school’s
mission.
When asked about the success of the
event, Msgr. Keith R. Brennan, President
and Rector of St. Vincent de Paul
Regional Seminary said,
“The leadership of Chairman, Frank C. Ferraro Sr., and Festival
Coordinator and Dean of Academics, Msgr.
Stephen Bosso was
pivotal to this year’s program.”
The tireless efforts of committee
members Bob Clinger,
Dennis Sullivan, George Walsh, Barbara &
Frank Gozukizil,
Mary & Skip Liguori, Suzy Ferraro, Carol
& Jerome Plummer,
Dr. Kathleen Herne, Don Bosak, Mimi &
Dan Meister, Denis Mullane
and Mark Giresi, made a significant
impact on the event’s success.

Ferraro, Sr., Denis Mullane,
