Broadway in Addams Family are Women's
Project's 2011 Women of Achievement who were
inducted at the 26th Annual Gala Celebration
hosted by the Academy Award-nominated and Golden
Globe Award-winning Kathleen Turner at ESPACE,
635 West 42nd Street, on Monday, March 7, at
6:30pm.
"Each year, Women's
Project, the acclaimed off Broadway theatre
company that produces work written and directed
by women, takes pride in celebrating the
extraordinary accomplishments of women from the
worlds of entertainment and business. Women's
Project's extraordinary group of past recipients
includes Kathleen Turner, Dame Judi Dench,
Gloria Steinem, Tina Brown, Eve Ensler, Whoopi
Goldberg, Annie Leibovitz, Estelle Parsons,
Laurie Anderson, Suzanne Vega and Joan Osborne
to name but a few," said Julie Crosby, the
Producing Artistic Director of Women's Project.
Co-chairs for the Gala Celebration were
Cassandra Del Viscio, Lucia Hwong Gordon,
Annette Green, Cassandra Seidenfeld Lyster and
Arlene Scanlan.
- BONNIE PFEIFER EVANS has an
exceptional background as a prominent model,
philanthropist, real estate investor and a
Healthy Chocolate distributor. She was
"discovered" while still in high school by
the Washington Post and was a finalist in
the nationally televised "Model of the Year"
contest, which launched her modeling career.
She has been photographed for virtually
every magazine, featured in TV commercials
worldwide and cat walked preeminent runway
shows for designers including Ralph Lauren,
Donna Karan, Kenzo, Calvin Klein, Armani,
Chanel, Jeffrey Beene, Bill Blass, Gianne

- MINDY GROSSMAN, a 32-year veteran
of the retail and apparel industries, is
Chief Executive Officer of HSN, Inc. and a
member of the company's Board of Directors.
In this capacity Ms. Grossman oversees a
$2.8 billion dollar retail portfolio which
includes: HSN, a leading interactive
lifestyle network (Home Shopping Network)
and retail destination that offers a curated
assortment of exclusive products combined
with top brand names; HSN.com, a top 10
trafficked e-commerce site that offers a

- BEBE NEUWIRTH is a star of
theatre, television and film. From her 1980

for her role as Lilith Sternin Crane on
Cheers and was nominated for Emmys for
her work on Frasier as well as her
portrayal of Dorothy Parker in the TV movie

host Kathleen Turner, with her blend of raw
sexuality, beauty, intelligence, and drive,
ranks with golden age-sirens like Lana Turner
and Ava Gardner. She blazed into the public

This year's Women
of Achievement Award marks the 26th anniversary
of the award. Past recipients include Kathleen
Turner, Laurie Anderson, Joan Osborne, Suzanne
Vega Estelle Parsons, Toni Morrison, Beverly
Sills, Diane Sawyer, Gloria Steinem, Donna Karan,
Susan Sarandon, Barbara Walters, Rosie
O'Donnell, Katie Couric, Lauren Bacall, Maya
Angelou, Dame Judy Dench, Joan Didion, Eveyln
Lauder, Whoopi Goldberg, Twyla Tharp, Susan
Lucci, Eve Ensler and Kerry Washington, among
