About Children's Hospital Colorado and the
CCBD Wellness Program
Children’s Hospital Colorado is the only
nonprofit pediatric health care system in a seven-state
region and serves more than 280,000 children. Generous
support from the community helps Children’s Colorado care
for more kids than any other hospital in the area, ensures
access to world-class expertise for every family who needs
us, and drives life-saving innovations and discoveries for
kids.
The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders (CCBD)
created the Wellness Program, a “unique in the country”
integrated psychosocial care model for children and families
fighting childhood cancer. With the understanding that each
patient and family will adjust to their diagnosis and
treatment differently, the clinical diversity of Dr. Bob
Casey and his team allows for a tailored, individualized
clinical approach to looking after the mental, emotional,
and overall health and well-being of each child and family.
