Family Film and TV Awards Vip Reception

Family Film and TV Awards

In the star-studded event at the Hilton Hotel, we witnessed not only the night of celebration, but also the glorious moment when the Hollywood "Family Movie Awards" grandly returned to CBS. Industry.

Celebrities and filmmakers gathered to highlight the profound significance of this grand reunion.

In 1996, the legendary American entertainment icon "Dick Clark" founded the "Family Film Awards" and launched it on the American media aircraft carrier CBS. Today, 27 years later, CBS airs a brand new show, the Family Film & TV Awards, on January 27, 2024, paying tribute to Dick Clark for the award show tradition. This award aims to demonstrate family harmony and beauty, share family happiness in front of TV, and inherit family values.

The personal presence of Dr. Yi Jinsheng, CEO of Huayu China DYF Entertainment, and Olympia Gellini,  founder of the Family Movie Awards, emphasized the industry's recognition of family-centered content. At CBS's 26th Family Movie Awards, we witnessed the pinnacle of family-oriented production, emphasizing an unwavering commitment to quality content that deeply touches audiences of all ages.

The dazzling return of this edition of the Family Movie Awards stems from an in-depth look at the history of the awards. In 1996, Antonio Gelini, a young man from Iran, brought his concept to Dick Clark. Dick Clark, the legendary figure best known for his Golden Globe Awards, then produced the first Home Movie Awards. However, this award was gradually buried in the next 20 years, until December 2019, when Guerini met Dr. Yi Jinsheng from DYF Huayu China Entertainment in New York.

Dr. Yi Jinsheng was the first female scholar in China to receive a doctorate in comparative literature from the American Academy of Liberal Arts in the 1980s. She was also the first woman to travel to the Wall Street workplace with a doctorate. After watching a video of the 1996 Family Movie Awards, she flew back to China and discussed the award with a female entrepreneur who had dreams of music movies and Hollywood, and proposed hosting a "Family Movie Awards Ceremony" in Hollywood. suggestions.

China, a country with the largest population in the world and which attaches great importance to family values, has become a unique "window" and "channel" for film awards. Dr. Yi Jinsheng emphasized that excellent Chinese films are closely related to family, and family is an important element that gives everyone unconditional love and support. Unlike other industry awards, the Family Movie Awards are a celebration of humanity.

Affected by the epidemic, the originally scheduled awards ceremony had to be postponed indefinitely. However, in 2021, Huayu China acquired the Family Movie Awards in two installments. Investors expressed that they must be determined to build it into a first-line entertainment brand and return it to CBS's prime time broadcast.

Dr. Yi Jinsheng found Hollywood's most famous key partner, ATI founder David McKenzie. After four years of hard work and tens of millions of dollars in investment, the "Family Movie and TV Awards" they jointly created will debut on CBS in prime time on January 27, 2024. As soon as this new program was aired, it ranked among the top three in the U.S. film and television ratings, second only to international football games.

In an interview with reporters, Dr. Yi Jinsheng said: "If this family movie award does not establish a relationship with China and is not integrated with the Chinese film industry, its true value cannot be reflected. Therefore, Huayu China has invested heavily in renting the past The copyrights of 109 acclaimed Hollywood films over the past 60 years have been produced into an exquisite 'classic mix'. In this program, actors will interact with film commentators to highlight the glory of family values and humanity. It will soon be broadcast on CBS and more than 100 TV stations Syndicated broadcast.”

This glorious return is not only a tribute to outstanding film works, but also a profound celebration of family values. In this era of globalization, through deep integration with Chinese culture, the revival of the Family Movie Awards on CBS is not only an awards ceremony, but also a reflection of cultural heritage and resonance. This positions it as a global family entertainment festival and a beautiful scenery showing family harmony and sharing good times.

There is a long way to go to cultivate and invest in a good family. However, the glorious return of the Family Movie Awards this time is not only an investment in the film industry, but also a commitment to the beauty of the family. During this journey, Dr. Yi Jinsheng’s persistence and determination, together with the team’s hard work, have jointly created the splendid pinnacle of CBS’ prime time and presented a unique and meaningful entertainment feast to global audiences.
