6th, a
smart
and
festive
gathering
of over
350
guests
came
together
at the
National
Museum
of Dance
and Hall
of Fame
for it's
25th
Anniversary
Gala.
The
special
guest of
honor
was Ann-Margret,
who
received
a
Lifetime
Achievement
Award. A
fantastic
video of
Ann-Margret's
dance
career
performances,
including
Bye Bye
Birdie,
and a
great
number
with
Elvis,
delighted
the
audience.
Also
honored
for
their 25
years of
service
to the
museum
were
Marylou
Whitney,
and the
Swyer
family
on
behalf
of Lewis
A. Swyer.
The
audience
was
treated
to
performances
by MOMIX,
a
company
of
dancer-illusionists
known
internationally
for
presenting
work of
inventiveness
and
physical
beauty.
Also
performing
was the
American
Ballet
Theatre,
which
presented
a
beautiful
piece of
classical
ballet.
