Foto Art: Creating Forever Memories |
|
As a
young woman, traveling back and forth to Paris,
I was always inspired to paint. I am a visual person,
living abroad,
every face I gazed at, even a dog sitting at foot of its
master, in a cafe,
was a painting waiting to happen. |
I
loved working with acrylics, mixing colors, building
textures,
working with brushes, knives, even my hands. |
However, once back in NYC, my painting came to a halt.
I no longer had the luxury of space. Abandoning my over
sized canvases, paints and tools, I discovered the world of
digital, photographic portrait art, using my computer, which
led me to explore a multitude array of
exciting apps. |
Now
my inspiration comes from the photos my clients send me of
people, pets and photos in need of tender restoration. |
When
I look at a photograph, I see a blank canvas, a canvas that
invites my mind’s eye to wander, sometimes to another place,
another time, creating an existing story to be told a new.
|
And
so, with my iMac in hand,
Foto Art: Creating Forever Memories
was born. |
