Wild: Monk in a Hut" is a rare behind the scenes look at
Buddhist monastery life in the 21st Century that
delves into many issues of monastic life from the concept of
celibacy to racism to the role of women. It is a happy film
that shows the real life of Buddhist monks.
The film has
run in major art house cinemas including Laemmle's USA. It has received awards in the
Best Feature Documentary in the USA by Kids First at the
